Classes & Courses

I keep my classes small so I can give each student proper attention. Here’s what I can offer, classes are defined by the general needs of the students and by arrangement. If you have a group of friends that would like to practice yoga together, I’d love to guide you.

Level 1

For students who have some yoga under their belt. We work on alignment, steadiness and understanding what you’re actually doing.

Level 2

More demanding postures and pranayama for those who have been practising for a while and want to go deeper.

Pregnancy Yoga

I especially love teaching pregnant students. Classes are gentle and carefully adapted — safe and nourishing at every stage.

Private Lessons

Just the two of us. We work entirely around what you need — your body, your schedule, your goals.

Why I teach

I came to yoga later in life. After 28 years living in Sweden, the US and Germany, I came back to New Zealand and threw myself into Iyengar Yoga. I had no idea it would change things as much as it did.

What I love about it is the intelligence behind the method. There’s a logic to it — it’s not just stretching. It can calm you down, help you handle stress, and genuinely support your everyday life in ways that are hard to explain until you experience them.

I’ve been to Pune four times since 2014 to study at the RIMYI institute. I’m still a student myself, which I think makes me a better teacher.

I enjoy teaching all levels and I have a particular soft spot for pregnant students. I also speak German fluently, so feel free to get in touch in German if that’s easier.
